Our drinks are made with 6 simple ingredients:

Apple Cider Vinegar
Fresh Lemon Juice
Honey
Organic Agave
Sea Salt
+ Matcha or Rooibos

All real. Nothing artificial. Fresh and functional. Our tea leaves, the lemons, the honey — we trace every ingredient to its source and we make no compromise on quality.

Our Sparkling Matcha has ~25mg of caffeine per 12oz. can, compared to a cup of coffee which is generally in the ~100mg range. Our Sparkling Rooibos is naturally caffeine free.

We like to think just enough, which is to say: not very. We add a little honey and organic agave to our recipe because 1) it tastes great and 2) they’re a healthier alternative to the white sugar and corn syrup commonly found in soda.

We currently offer Sparkling Matcha, and Sparkling Rooibos.
Matcha is one of nature’s most powerful sources of vitality and wellness. Consumed as a whole food, matcha is a brilliant green powder made by stone-grinding the finest green tea leaves. It is the purest form of healthy tea.
Rooibos has been used for many centuries as an herbal remedy in South Africa. Rooibos has a smooth flavor and contains a wealth of antioxidants, enzymes, and minerals that provide powerful health benefits.

Motto is available for purchase online, and at these stores. When you sign up for our emails, we’ll let you know as soon as we land in a store near you.

It rhymes with lotto, grotto, and auto. And if you’re wondering why we picked it, well…a motto is something to live by, a short phrase or idea that offers inspiration and guidance; Motto’s motto is “Drink for Life.”

In the fridge — Motto contains fresh ingredients that are best stored and enjoyed cold. Stored in the fridge, it will taste its best for up to 8 months; check the bottom of your can for a Best By date. And of course, if necessary, it’s fine for Motto to be kept unrefrigerated for brief periods.

We like it cold, right out of the can; bonus points for sipping it out in the sunshine. Just remember to give the can a little shake to mix in any ingredients that may have settled to the bottom.

TBH, we like Motto best on its own…but if you have a combo you love, share it with us!

We’re proud to use matcha from Aiya, a family owned business founded in 1888. Based in Nishio, Japan, Aiya’s premium matcha is grown in a fertile environment perfect for creating rich, nutrient-dense tea.

Yes!

Nope! We use a BPA-Non Intent (BPA-NI) liner made by Ball Corporation, which is the highest possible standard in terms of avoiding BPA in plastic. BPA-Ni is compliant with California Proposition 65 requirements.

As a member of 1% for the Planet, we contribute a portion of our profits to fund a wide array of environmental non-profits and initiatives across the globe. We also offset 100% of our emissions through the Mamoni Valley Preserve, an independent non-profit organization. We’re always looking for ways to improve, so if you have an idea, don’t hesitate to reach out.
